TATAKI FALLS
Family outing to TaTaki falls! It was the perfect summer hike. We all loved the gorgeous views and cooling off in the refreshing water. Audrey was a big fan of the rope swing. The only downside was not having Abby with us.
CO-OP
We started having co-op at our house each Monday and the girls love learning with friends!
ADVENTURE WEDNESDAY
We explored Hamahiga island. It's a little island off of the main island of Okinawa which is connected by a bridge.
We visited the tomb of Amamichu (creator god of the Ryukyu islands)
Takaesu (a traditional salt factory)
Higa village (traditional homes)
Nuchima-su (a more modern salt factory),
Making and eating caramel apples
Making wreaths
HOMECOMING
Maddy and Nathan went to Homecoming with a group of friends and stopped for Blue Seal ice cream afterwards. The dance was Tangled-themed, which is why the girls posed with frying pans and the guys are making the Flynn Ryder faces.
ARAHA BEACH
Just another lazy evening at the beach. We love living so close to the ocean.
THOMAS TURNS 12
Happy 12th Birthday Thomas! You truly have changed our lives for good. We love you, and we look forward to the time that we can be together again.
