We had a homeschool meeting and learned all about Ramadan from the base cultural liason Dr Afifi
Dr Afifi wrote all our names for us in Arabic
Sister Ebert hosted a beautful Galentines tea party for the young women
It turned out so nice!
VALENTINE'S DAY
Jared spent Valentine's day skiing Mt Etna, so I celebrated with the kids.
We had a fun time at the beach flying kites and playing in the gulf. Some of the kids even foudn this cool jelly fish. Unlike the ones we had in Okinawa, this one is harmless.
We had a fun colonial days homeschool activity. The kids ate traditional foods and they learned about print making.
They also had fun playing colonial games like jacks and pick up sticks
We had to evacuate for a drill the first time we tried this activity, but luckily it happened the second time we tried.

Unfortunately the end of February ended up being quite tramatic. It requires it's own post.
