BRANCH CHRISTMAS PARTY

Santa came to Okinawa!
The Relief Society was in charge of decorations and I think it turned out really nice. Nathan risked his life to climb up a wobbly ladder and hang the snowflakes for us.
We had a nice pancake breakfast
Maddy helped play background music.

KUBASAKI WINTER CONCERT
Both Nathan and Maddy performed
Maddy was the accompanist for both choirs

Nathan sang a solo for one of the songs. He did great!

FLUTE CHOIR CONCERT

We got to watch Abby's flute choir concert online. She did a wonderful job playing a large bass flute.

HOMESCHOOL FUN

In co-op they made snowflake crystals with borax and sugar
Another fun experiment

JROTC BALL

BOOK GROUP
Group picture for book group since April is moving. We will miss her!

ABBY'S HOME!
It was so nice to have Abby home for the holidays, although she struggled with jet lag most of the time. Brooklyn and Audrey made sure she got lots of cuddles while she was here.

AMERICAN VILLAGE
We visited Christmas Land at American Village.

CHRISTMAS EVE
Maddy made this delicious yule log for us
We also made a vegan sushi Christmas tree

We had the traditional gingerbread cookies of course.

The kids played a fun unwrapping dice game.

The kids acted out the Nativity and we read the scriptures and sang carols.
The kids opened their new ornaments and put them on the tree.

Jared read the kids Twas the Night Before Christmas.

CHRISTMAS MORNING

After our Christmas eve party we were sugared out so Abby made us a nice, healthy breakfast.
Santa brought Abby money and Maddy got a cute new red coat.

The three youngest all got LEGOs.

We also got some puzzles and these cool LEGO sets that we had fun building as a family.

RYUKU LANTERN FESTIVAL AT MURASAKI MURA

We met some of Jared's co workers at the festival and enjoyed seeing the beautiful lanterns.
