March 2021

 HURRICANE HARBOR

It is already getting hot, so it we had a nice day at our nearby waterpark.

PANDA REPORT
Audrey is obsessed with Pandas so she asked her teacher if she could make a poster about them to share with her class. She wrote down facts she read in a panda book and drew this cute panda picture for the poster.

ROLLER SKATING

Jared's school's spring break didn't align with the kids' spring break this year so for Spring break this I decided to get a Phoenix Pogo passes which got us into a lot of fun places in the valley. Brooklyn and Audrey got to try roller skating for the fist time.

GLOW GOLF

My kids also did their first round of minature golf.

BOWLING
The golf place also had bowling that we could enjoy.

PIE DAY!
Jared made us this delicious apple pie for pie day.

PHOENIX ZOO
We took this little tiger to the zoo for her birthday.

She was super excited to see a real live tiger.
She is SO brave.
Riding a tiger.

Abby rolling her eyes because she now feels she is too old for zoo pictures.

LOSING A TOOTH

Audrey lost her first tooth at the zoo when she bit into a granola bar.  She was so excited. For the next couple weeks she told the story to every person she saw!

HIKING PHOENIX

Abby, Maddy, and Nathan and working with me on getting in shape so we can hike Timp this summer. One of my favorite things about our home is all of the beautiful hikes just a few minutes away.

Jared and I finally got to hike Camelback together. The view was beautiful.

It was only a mile up, but super steep.

We ran into this interesting guy on the way down. He was hiking barefoot, in a speedo with a weird painting of himself. He is a musician, so we think it was some sort of publicity stunt.

DRESSING UP

Maddy flat ironed Brooklyn's hair because she wanted it to be long and straight like Elsa.

EARLY EASTER BASKET

Brooklyn was spoiled by her afternoon bus driver and bus helper who gave her an Easter basket with a cute purple bunny that Brooklyn adores.

Brooklyn's 4!

BROOKLYN'S BIRTHDAY
When you are super cute and the youngest in a family you tend to get spoiled on your birthday.
Brooklyn loved the tiger card Maddy made for her.
Audrey made her a cute tiger card as well.
Brooklyn is excited to finally be big enough for big girl LEGOs.

Brooklyn loves her new doll that looks just like her. She named it "Brooklyn."
Brooklyn also loves dressing her doll in all the cute new dolls and clothes from her Grandma.

Brooklyn wanted crepes for her birthday dinner. Jared even managed to make one look like a tiger.

A TIGER PARTY

Brooklyn had a few friends over for a tiger party.

Abby and Maddy did a great job with the tiger decorations and cupcakes.

The kids had fun "feeding" the tiger bean bags.

The also liked the put the tail on the tiger game.

They also played animal charades. Brooklyn was a tiger every time.

Opening presents. Brooklyn loved the sunglasses that came with a matching doll pair.

The last game was a treasure hunt with tiger paw print clues that led to a box full of party favors.

Tiger cupcakes and ice cream!
