BROOKLYN LOSES A TOOTH

Jared pulled out Brooklyn's first tooth

She was super excited to get visited by the tooth fairy for the first time. 

DINOSAUR PARK

Dinosaur Park is a botanical garden that went out of business, but then reopened after filling its gardens full of animatronic dinosaurs that move and make noises. My kids loved finding and watching the dinosaurs, and I enjoyed the beautiful flowers and interesting plants.

WARD ACTIVITY

We had a fun ward activity at Torri beach. I enjoyed playing volleyball and the kids enjoyed exploring the tide pools. The tug of war was super fun too!

MOTHER'S DAY

We put on a nice waffle brunch for all the Relief Society sisters. Unfortunately I mixed up the amount of water and oil for the batter so our branch presidency 1st counselor had to run to the Commissary on a Sunday to get more waffle supplies for me. It was a little stressful, but it turned out really nice in the end. 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JARED

For his birthday dinner I tried making Banh Mi for the first time and it was a hit. 

Forty-three!

Audrey and her friend wrote birthday messages on the sidewalk for him. 

SPRING MUSIC SHOWCASE

Nathan sang in the choir and Abby helped accompany.

She also played in the band. 

Abby was recognized for her contributions to the music program, including keeping her music teachers in line.

We took pictures in American Village. It was the perfect backdrop for all their colorful dresses. 

They had a fun time dancing with friends.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Abby worked hard to apply to scholarships with the local military spouses clubs. She received about $6000 in all.

Audrey has a wonderful teacher, Ms Shoko. 

Audrey did a wonderful job at her violin recital.

TEAM LABS FUTURE PARK OKINAWA

Team Labs Future Park Okinawa! It wasn’t quite as impressive as the Team Lab Planets in Tokyo, but we all found it enjoyable. We liked coloring creatures with oil pastels and then watching them become part of the moving projections. Note: Unlike Team Labs in Tokyo they want you to wear shoes, so don’t show up in flip flops or you’ll have to pay extra for a shoe rental
