Visitors
Jared and I decided that the best way to get your family to come visit you is to have a cute new baby. First Neal and JoyAnn drove up to see us on the 22nd. The girls loved the princess books and extra attention from grandma and grandpa. Abby did a fashion show with all her princess dresses for Grandma, along with an amazing Celtic dancing routine. Maddy surprised us by warming up to grandma and grandpa right away. Nathan loved the extra hands to hold him, and Jared and I enjoyed being able to go out for our anniversary while Neal and JoyAnn watched the kids. It was great.
Here are the girls being pushed by grandpa on the swings.
The week after they left, my mom came up to help me out for a week before heading up to Victoria for a vacation. It was perfect timing since Jared had to head back to work on the 1st. Abby loved sharing a room with grandma and going out to a "fancy" restaurant. Both Maddy and Abby enjoyed having grandma around to read to them and give them extra attention. Nathan liked hanging out in grandma's arms. Jared loved having a built-in babysitter so he could take me out. My favorite part was being able to sleep in every morning while my mom got up and took care of the girls. We're all really going to miss her sweet helping hands.
My mom left on the 5th, and on the same day I was excited to get a surprise visit from my mother-in-law and two sisters-in-law. They drove up all the way from Boise to come to Nathan's open house. The cousins loved playing, and I enjoyed the visit even though it was only for a few hours before they had to drive back home.

Nathan is so cute!! Are his eyes blue? They look like they could almost be brown in this picture.
How sweet of people to visit. It is always so fun to have visitors although I am sure the girls were totally of schedule with naps and so forth. How fun to have a surprise visit from your mother-in-law and sister-in-laws! You look great, especially considering you just had a baby!
It was so fun to see you! We are so happy that we were able to meet Nathan and that Courtney could play with her Washington cousins. We just wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe we will have to plan a weekend visit one of these days. Cute pictures!
Very nice pictures, lucky girls to have so many cousins and so many people who love them. We love your kids too. We'll hopefully be visitors one day. Have a wonderful day, I'm glad Mom was able to have all that nice time with the kids, you know she loves them.
