 BEING ACTIVE!

I'm trying to do more sports with the kids.
Rock Climbing at the YMCA.
Brooklyn was able to climb all the way to the top of this rope!

JOYANN'S RETIREMENT PARTY
Had a party at Bryan and Afton's house to celebrate JoyAnn's retirement!
Grandma decided to retire after getting shoulder surgery. She worked cleaning houses for 22 years!

 UTAH TRIP

We took another trip down to Utah to visit family and to pick Maddy up from BYU.
Lydia loved smiling for Audrey.

Had a fun time at Thanksgiving Point with Andrew and Nikki's family.

Riding the tube slide!
Lot's of fun 250 years celebrations

Mini monuments

Beautifiul flowers!

The foam pit at the end was particularly fun.

We had fun swimming at Aunt Rebecca's pool
We got to go to Abraham's farewell talk and see lots of family.

Audrey tried out having her hair straightened. She decided she actually didn't like it. It was crazy to see how much she looked like Abby.
We had some nice family dinners.
Everyone took a turn trying to split wood

Nathan and I did a tour of BYU

HIKING TIMP

We had a crazy hiking experience attempting to hike Timp. We realized that it was too early in the year to hike safely and cross the melting snow fields.

Also the sign for Timp was messed up, so we ended up going the wrong way and having to backtrack. Our 14.5 mile hike ended up turning into about 19 miles.

We saw some mountain goats that were super cute. It was a little sacry when they were on the cliffs above us kicking down rocks.
We ended up with lots of adventures trying to cross this snow field. It was so slippery! Audrey ended up losing her shoe and we ended up with wet socks which led to blisters. I ended up giving Audrey my slightly drier sock and did most of the hike without socks. I ended up bleeding through my shoes. After the hike I pretty much had to replace all our shoes, so it ended up being a very expensive hike.

We made it to the saddle at the end of the hike, but decided to not go any further because there were 3 more snowfields that we were told were dangerous to cross if we didn't have poles.

We saw 2 moose on our way back
