AUDREY
Our sweet Audrey has developed an addiction. An addiction to crafts. After her getting all the paper from multiple spots, we thought it would be safe on top of the kitchen cabinets.  Our determined little girl wouldn't let that stop her; she just put a step stool on top of the counter to get it.
Audrey read her first chapter book this month!

Audrey loves her dance class.
Audrey is creative.  She is constantly dressing up or doing arts and crafts. Her craft messes were getting out of control so we packed up her craft supplies.  What does she do?  She gets floss picks, plastic spoons, and paper plates and starts making crafts out of them!

CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY!

We have a pretty boring backyard, which is fine in 115 degree weather, but now that the weather is perfect, the kids needed something fun to do outside. The kids got an early Christmas present--a new swing set! Nathan and Audrey had fun helping Jared build it.

MADDY
Maddy daydreaming about the perfect Harry Potter themed bedroom she could have courtesy of Pottery Barn (if only she had unlimited funds).

Even after all these years, she still loves the American Girl store.

BROOKLYN
Brooklyn had fun at the American Girl store playing with the Bitty Babies.
Brooklyn at Abby's band concert.
Brooklyn in cute pigtails (she rarely lets me do her hair).

Brooklyn doesn't give hugs often, so when she does it's a big deal. Jared was excited to get this one.  Even though she doesn't give her family many hugs, she loves dogs.  At Target she insisted on getting out of the cart so she could give one to the Target dog.

Brooklyn gets jealous of Maddy giving piano lessons to Audrey, so sometimes Maddy lets her play too.

ABBY

Abby sewed these cute panda pajama pants as part of her Young Women's project. She has a hard time getting clothes skinny and long enough for her, so it was nice that she could make this pair that fit her perfectly.

Abby had her first band concert and she did great!

Abby went on her first backpacking trip.  She didn't like having to use the bathroom in the woods, but she did great! Maddy went too, but she rushed to shower afterwards before I could get a picture.

VISITING THE SIKH TEMPLE
Our homeschool group attended a lecture, took a tour of a Sikh temple, and were fed some delicious vegan food. It was fascinating to learn more about their religion. All the girls, including babies, were supposed to cover their heads. I thought Audrey and Brooklyn looked super cute with their hair covered.

SISTERS
The kids were not very excited about their flu shots until they found out they got ice cream afterwards. This is probably the 3rd time in Brooklyn's life that she has had ice cream, and she loved it!

NATHAN

Nathan is doing great! He prefers homeschool, but he is doing really well at Stetson Hills Elementary. He enjoys being in band and playing the clarinet. He is such a joy to have in our family.

BOWLING

My brother Joseph and his family came to town.  We had fun meeting them for park time and bowling. I thought Brooklyn and Audrey were super cute in their bowling shoes.

HALLOWEEN FUN

As soon as I got out the Halloween bin, Brooklyn got dressed up to go trick or treating.

Audrey decided to be a cute Ravenclaw witch.

We had a fun homeschool party.  The kids enjoyed decorating cookies, playing games, and having a costume parade.

Ready to go trick or treating!

Jared carved this cool Gandalf pumpkin.

HIKING!

Jared, Brooklyn, and I are loving this perfect hiking weather.  We have fun taking date night hikes.
