HELPING HANDS

Jared finished up his dental school application and headed down to Houston as part of Helping Hands to help with the hurricane Harvey recovery efforts.  Here he is with his respirator and hazmat suit.  Some of the homes he worked on were pretty nasty with mice, roaches, and mold.

They had to take out the sheet rock two feet above the water line.

Jared said that pictures didn't do justice to all the devastation in Houston.  All the streets looked like this with piles of rubbish everywhere.

They slept at a giant stadium.
