ABBY'S 11th BIRTHDAY
Abby opening presents on her birthday morning. With a new baby in the house, we decided to just have a small family party for Abby this year. For her birthday, Abby chose this cute fairy house and accessories for her fairy garden. She loves having her own little garden and she is diligent about watering her flowers everyday.

It is hard to believe that our oldest is 11! Abby is a huge help with her little sisters and a great example to all her younger siblings. She is even responsible enough to help babysit for short periods of time, which was a big life saver these last few months when I had weekly doctor visits. She loves planning and decorating for parties and holiday celebrations. Abby wrote out a plan of everything she wanted to do for her birthday. She spelled it all perfectly, except for cake, which she spelled "cack" (which of course made us think of Franc in Father of the Bride). Abby has worked hard to develop her talents. Her diligence with gymnastics has paid off and she recently learned how to do a back handspring. If you ever need to find Abby, 9 times out of 10 you will find her in a comfy, quiet spot reading a book. Next to reading, music is Abby's second great love. She has worked very hard at the piano and we enjoy hearing her play. She has surpassed me in my piano playing skills, so she usually plays for us at FHE. She has even been asked to play for a few recent baptisms. We are proud of our sweet, talented, responsible girl, and she is a joy to have in our family.
