PLANS AND GOALS
Many of our goals and plans for 2020 were derailed because of the Coronavirus, but it was good to write down all the fun things we were still able to do. Highlights include skiing in McCall, rafting down the Provo river, and Brooklyn getting her favorite stuffed animal Roary.
We wrote down some of our goals and plans for 2021. We want to finish reading the Doctrine and Covenants. The older kids all want to learn to ski better. Audrey wants to learn to ride her bike, learn to swim, and to learn how to play the violin. We hope to make a trip to Yosemite this spring and the kids plan on doing lots of backpacking.
DATE NIGHT
We had a fun time bowling and ice skating together.
FAMILY FUN
We finished a puzzle of Washington D.C. If Jared gets the Perio residency spot he wants then we will be moving there in 1.5 years.
In order to teach the kids how to cook, we have had a baking cookoff. We take turns baking main dishes and desserts on Sunday and Jared and Brooklyn are the judges. Abby and Maddy blew the competion out of the water with this delicious Baklava.
Brooklyn is growing up and started to say some sounds. She is creative and funny. She loves do dress up as a spider and crawl all over people.
OUR AUDREY ARTIST
Audrey's favorite class at school is art. She loves to draw any chance she gets.
TAFFY
Our health insurance company gave Brooklyn a $10 gift card for getting a flu shot. She used it to buy her own stick horse which she named Taffy (after her uncle Bryan's horse). Brooklyn loves to gallop around the house on her pony.
HAIL STORM
We had a giant hail storm this month. It is probably the closest that Phoenix will ever get to snow. The kids went out and made hail balls.
