PUZZLES

We usually only do puzzles at Christmastime, but during quarantine we usually have at least one puzzle out for people to work on. Brooklyn has even learned how to do puzzles and can do her 24 piece ones from the dollar store by herself.
HAPPY EASTER
Our ward members put up large Easter egg cut outs in their windows so the kids could walk around the neighborhood and have an "Easter egg hunt." Audrey made a bunch for our house. One sweet woman even left Easter treats outside for the kids.
The little girls were excited about their new puzzles and Elephant and Piggie books.
The older kids are not really interested in little kid Easter basket stuff, and because our library is still closed, I let them each pick out a book on Amazon for the Easter bunny to bring them.

HOMESCHOOL AND SCHOOL AT HOME

Brooklyn was supposed to start developmental preschool on the first day they decided to cancel for Covid-19. She has been doing circle time on Zoom and she is given art projects to do at home. Here are a few of the ones she did.

Nathan and Abby have been doing online school at home. Here are a few of Nathan's art assignments.

For homeschool art class we did chalk art.
Brooklyn and Audrey raised caterpillars and watched them turn into butterflies for their science class. They had fun releasing them at the park.

We are loving church at home. When we learned about king Benjamin we made a tent and watched as Audrey recited Mosiah 2:17. After church Brooklyn decided to climb up as well.
Brooklyn and Audrey often like to pack their lunches and go have a picnic in their playhouse together.

Brooky as Anna.
For science the kids made different biomes out of Legos. Audrey made a desert one out of Duplos.
For my birthday we went on a family hike to Blue Wash Trail.
The waterfall of cool water made the hike worth it.
We saw a lot of mating frogs in the river.
By the end of April we were all dying in the heat, so we got a little kiddie pool to help us cool off.
We got a little escape from the heat when we went up to Prescott to see Afton, Carissa, and Dantzel who were there for Afton's sister's wedding. We went on a hike and had a nice outdoor lunch in the shade. It was nice to cool off and visit.
