May 2018 Update

ABBY'S FIRST TEMPLE TRIP
Abby was able to attend the temple for the first time this month.  She was able to do baptism for several family names.  It was a beautiful, spiritual experience.

We are grateful to Laura Robbins who was kind enough to watch our kids so Jared and I could both be with Abby as she went through the temple for the first time.
 FAMILY FUN
Nathan dressed as a ball playing, superhero, soldier, pirate (If you've read the Series of Unfortunate Events books then you will understand).
The girls enjoyed playing in the kiddie pool.

Brooklyn loves playing the big girl piano.
 BIKE PARADE

Audrey is excited to be big enough to ride a big girl bike.  She had fun riding it in the bike parade after storytime.

MOTHER'S DAY
The kid made me a lot of cute cards and Abby made me these cute hand print flowers that she put in a vase.
I feel very blessed to be the mother to Thomas and all of these wonderful kids.

 PINEWOOD DERBY
Jared was given the job of setting up the pinewood derby track.

Nathan's car did well, but he didn't end up winning.  After the races Jared adjusted Nathan's car so it didn't ride the rail as much and it ended up beating the winning car.

JARED'S BIRTHDAY
We came to Jared's work to surprise him on his birthday.  It ended up not being a great day for Jared since the doctor he's been working with for 8 years got let go due to some bad politics at the hospital.

 WACO WETLANDS

We decided to take a trip out to the nearby wetlands.  We saw a lot of beautiful birds, butterflies, and wild flowers.

LEARNING TO WALK

We've had a hard time trying to get Brooklyn to learn to walk. She doesn't like to walk holding onto our hands.  We've had a hard time getting her to walk with doll strollers, etc.  Finally we found the perfect toy!  Brooklyn loves to walk pushing around Audrey's shopping cart.

 THE LIBRARY

FOUR LITTLE PRINCESSES

I'M SO GLAD WHEN DADDY COMES HOME
Jared left for a week to go to the national PA conference in New Orleans.

He brought home these cool Mardi Gras masks for each of us.

MAYBORN

Brooklyn loves crawling around and bouncing on the giant piano.

 LAST DAY OF GYMNASTICS

The AC wasn't working well, so the kids are super hot, but we had fun watching them on their last day of gymnastics.  It was fun to see how much they have improved over the years.
