DATE NIGHT

Jared and I had a fun date where we finally walked across the Brazos on the famous Waco bridge.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JARED!

Jared wanted avocado brownies for his birthday.  Yum!

Jared got this book by Elder Holland that he wanted to read and some beautiful homemade cards from his kids.

Jared at 37:
When he grows up he wants to be a dentist.

MOTHER'S DAY

The kids got up early to make breakfast.  I love how they made this heart with craisins on my porridge.
Audrey was excited to give me the present she made for me in the nursery.  The other kids gave me nice gifts and cards and Brooklyn gave me lots of smiles and cuddles.

I feel blessed to have such sweet, wonderful children.

BROOKLYN GRACE
Brooklyn is a very sweet and smiles a lot.  She especially love patty cake.

She loves being held by her siblings.  Here she is laughing with Abby.

We love her pout face and her smile.

Taking at nap with Nathan.

Our sleeping angel.

FAMILY FUN

Audrey loves building with Duplos.

Audrey all ready for church.

We had a fun day at the beach by Lake Waco.  The water was nice and warm and the kids enjoyed playing in the sand with their cousins.

Water fight in the back yard.
Nathan building a mud and rock castle with Christian.

Jared decided to expose the kids to some new foods.  Here they are enjoying some papaya and dragon fruit.

While Jared was in Las Vegas at a PA conference, we built a volcano.

The kids were not too impressed with my baking soda, food dye, vinegar lava that looked like pink foam so Jared offered to help them make a better explosion.  I'm glad all of his BYU chemistry classes are finally paying off.
