Nathan's Two!

Nathan's birthday coincided nicely with the ward Fathers and Sons outing which he really enjoyed. The only bad part was that he threw up in the middle of the night due to the fact that he drank too much soda. It was his first night away from Mommy and he did surprisingly well--he just had to wake daddy up every hour or so because he was so excited about sleeping next to him.

After they got back and Nathan had a nap, we had a Clifford birthday party for him. He loved taping the tag on Clifford, the find the paw print game, and of course, all the balloons.

His gift from us was a large tool set with tools that look just like Daddy's.

Here he is working hard to turn these screws with his electric drill.

Nathan hadn't eaten much since he threw up the night before, but when he saw his birthday cake his appetite suddenly returned.

Nathan continues to have a sweet, pleasant personality. He rarely fights or gets upset. He doesn't talk a lot, but he shows his intelligence in different ways. He knows how to work just about anything electrical in the house. He signs a lot so we at least know what he wants most of the time. He is always ready with a smile and is a great blessing to our family.
